Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Today, the

 

membership is 270,000 strong. These members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 13,000 clubs that make up our global network of meeting locations. Since 1924, more than 4 million people around the world have become more confident speakers and leaders because of their participation in Toastmasters.

Toastmasters International has completely revamped their web site www.toastmasters.org so that it can be more user friendly. From this site you can get all the necessary information which is required  as a member or as a club officer.  You can find the nearest club to your home town , you can find your award details, club DCP points, purchase various items from TMi shop etc.

When you join, they create a username and password for you.

Whether you are a member or a club officer, you can use your own username and password.  If you are not a club officer, then you can not access to important club activities page. 

To get username and password , send email to lostpassword@toastmasters.org. Be sure to include your name and member number.

This session walks you through the new method of logging in to the Toastmasters International website, so you can perform member, club and district business using one User Name and Password.

In this session, we’re going to learn about the new features of the My Profile section of the Toastmasters International website, including My Other Awards, My Order History and My Downloads.

Club Central

Here we look at the new features of the Club Central section of the Toastmasters International website, including:

  • Submitting applications and dues/fees for club members
  • Paying dues for club members
  • Viewing, updating and/or printing club officer information
  • Updating the club mailing address
  • Applying for educational awards for club members

District Central

This session walks you through the new features of the District Central section of the Toastmasters International website, including:

  • Submitting area reports of club visit
  • Recording/reviewing club officer training

Speech Contest Module  New

Speech Contest Training

The Speech Contest Training e-learning module consists of three sessions. Each takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. To complete a session, follow the steps below:

Watch the Getting Started video to learn how to use the TLC interface.
Download the worksheet for the session and print it or type in answers as you watch the session. This will allow you to take notes and create an easy reference guide to help you with the roles in a speech contest.
