Arjun was born on 15th August, 1964. His father's name is Sakthi Prasad. He (Sakthi Prasad) has acted in so many Kannada films! His mother is Lakshmi Devi. His elder brother's name is Kishore. Kishore is a popular film director in Kannada film field. After his college studies in Bangalore, Arjun started developing great interest in acting in films. He was introduced as hero in the film "Singakkutty 1, 2, 3", which got produced simultaneously in three languages viz: Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. He started acting as hero in Tamil from the film "Nantri", directed by Irama. Narayanan.
The film "Sankar Guru" proved to be a turning point in his
career. Only after this, the title 'Action King' was conferred on him.
With his mother's blessings, he sold out all his hard-earned properties and
invested the entire money for producing a film of his own, titled "Sevagan",
which he himself directed and he had acted in it too! It's big success infused
into him a great sense of modesty and that earned him still greater popularity.
After that, the record-breaking, super-hit film "Gentleman" made him
one of the leading heroes of Tamil film industry. Subsequently, he produced
"Padichcha Pullae" and "Pratap". He both directed and acted
in "Pratap". In "Jai Hind" too, he did direction work and
had done the lead role! Next, he directed and also played the hero part in "Thaayin
