ROHIT KRISHNAKUMAR WINS SHEIKH
HAMDAN AWARD 2009-2010
Congratulations!!!
We are proud to announce that Rohit Krishnakumar, Grade 5 student of DPS Dubai,
has won the Prestigious Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for
Distinguished Academic performance. Rohit Krishnakumar is the son of TN
Krishnakumar (CETA Alumini, 1995-2001 in Muscat/Oman, He was former General
Secretary of KEF ) and Geethu Krishnakumar who are at present in Dubai,UAE.
Rohit received
his award from Sheikh
Hamdan on 26th April 2010, at Rasheed Hall, World trade
centre exhibition halls at Dubai
7pm for the academic
excellence.
UNECSCO chief -Irina Bokova- Was the main guest of Honour.
Rohit is
one among the only three winners in his category.
This is a mile stone for Rohit Krishnakumar who has won many
certificates, trophies and medals in Academics, Basketball, Swimming, Music,
Dance and arts. He is also undergoing training in Keyboard/Piano ,Karate & UCMAS.
He is a member of the School Junior Team for Basketball and Swimming. He has
given performances with the Shiamak Davar’s Institute of Performing Arts, Dubai.
He is also an active quizzer.
Rohit is
extremely confident, respectful of others and sensitive to the needs of his
peers. He has been an excellent pupil throughout his school career, and has been
the top ranker in all the grades and participates in social charity work in UAE
and India.
