1.       Connect your smartphone to your PC with the USB cable.

2.       Open ActiveSync on your PC.

3.       Click the Explore button.

4.       Double-click My Windows Mobile-Based Device.

5.       Double-click Application Data. You will see a list of folders, one of which is Sounds.

6.       Using Windows Explorer on your PC, find the ringtones you downloaded and drag them into the Sounds folder in ActiveSync.

7.       Disconnect your smartphone.

8.       On your smartphone, press Start > Settings.

9.       Select Sounds.

10.   Under Ringtone, use the left and right navigation keys (next to the Center Joystick) to scroll to the ringtone you want. If you wait a second or two after scrolling to each choice, you'll hear what it sounds like.

When you've found the ringtone you want, press the Done soft key

MP3 format is supported primarily by the latest versions of Motorola Phones, Nokia Phones, Smart Phones, and Verizon MMS Phones. Some Verizon MMS phones have a size limitation of 30k.
